SA XC National #1-Cape Town
The Long Journey to Cape Town!
road blocks!
all through the night...
...and all through the day!
But we did finally arrive!
We were welcomed by a very sandy tough course which we knew was going to be a challenge!
Some lovely Technical sections and some tough Climbing!
A Really Fun Track!
Race Day
At the Start, nerves were kicking in!
I was excited and nervous for the race, it was my first event being first year Youth!
I was very Happy to see a much larger field of riders then normal.
The race started off very fast...
I did not feel my best throughout the race but I held on to 2nd Place over the three laps.
I'm very Happy with my result, it has been a tough four weekend in a row of racing!
Well Done to All who raced, Especially To the Team Jeep Athletes: Angela Egeland, Travis Walker, Patrick Belton, Juilian & Tom Jessop & Cameron Wright.
